FP93 Felted Lion Portrait w/Beads (11x14) | Suri Alpaca Fiber Art

This felted Lion portrait features natural Suri Alpaca fiber! The original artwork includes fiber from my own farm-raised Suri Alpaca herd. The artwork highlights the unique locks that are a trademark of Suri alpaca fleece.

I created this lion by needle felting white and dyed purple fiber with black, grey, and turquoise accents. The piece includes alpaca yarn, feathers, and decorative beads. The finished product is mounted on a black felt fabric background inside a black frame (there is no glass).

The frame measures 10x12" and includes a wire for hanging.
