FP90 Felted Lion Portrait w/Beads (11x14) | Suri Alpaca Fiber Art

This felted Lion portrait features natural Suri Alpaca fiber! The original artwork includes fiber from my own farm-raised Suri Alpaca herd. The artwork highlights the unique locks that are a trademark of Suri alpaca fleece.

I created this lion by needle felting beige and brown fiber with grey, black, and white accents. The piece includes alpaca yarn and rug yarn, feathers, and decorative beads. The finished product is mounted on a black felt fabric background inside a wood slat frame (there is no glass).

The frame measures 11.75 x 14.75" and includes a wire for hanging.
