FP88 Felted Orangutan Portrait (13x16) | Suri Alpaca Fiber Art

This orangutan portrait features natural Suri Alpaca fiber. The original artwork includes fiber from my own farm-raised Suri Alpaca herd. The piece highlights the unique locks that are a trademark of Suri alpaca fleece.

I created this orangutan portrait by needle felting lustrous fawn fiber with black and rose grey accents for the face. The finished product is mounted on a black felt fabric background inside a black frame (there is no glass).

The frame measures 13 x 16" and includes a wire for hanging.
