FP87 Felted Tiger Portrait (13x16) | Suri Alpaca Fiber Art

This tiger portrait features natural Suri Alpaca fiber. The original artwork includes fiber from my own farm-raised Suri Alpaca herd. The piece highlights the unique characteristics that are a trademark of Suri alpaca fleece.

I created this tiger portrait by needle felting fawn, white, and black fiber with beige and grey accents (only the eyes and nose are from dyed roving). The finished product is mounted on a black felt fabric background inside a black frame (there is no glass).

The frame measures 13 x 16" and includes a wire for hanging.
