FP79 Felted Lion Portrait (16x13) Zebra Background | Suri Alpaca Fiber Art

This lion portrait features natural Suri Alpaca fiber. The original artwork includes fiber from my own farm-raised Suri Alpaca herd. The piece highlights the unique locks that are a trademark of Suri alpaca fleece.

I created this lion portrait by needle felting brown and rose grey fiber with black and white accents (only the eyes are from dyed roving). The background is accented with beautiful black and white fiber in a zebra pattern. The finished product is mounted on a felt fabric background inside a black frame (there is no glass).

The frame measures 16 x 13" and includes a wire for hanging.
