This lion portrait features beautiful white Suri Alpaca fiber. The original artwork includes fiber from my own farm-raised Suri Alpaca herd. The piece highlights the unique locks that are a trademark of Suri alpaca fleece.
I created this lion portrait by needle felting white fiber with black and grey accents (only the eyes are from dyed roving). The finished product is loaded with fleece and is mounted on a black felt fabric background inside a black frame (there is no glass).
The frame measures 19.5 x 23.5" and includes D-rings/wire for hanging.
