This original artwork features fiber from my own farm-raised Suri Alpaca herd. The piece highlights the unique locks that are a trademark of Suri alpaca fleece.
I focused on natural beige, white, and black fiber, along with a hint of rose grey, to create this portrait. The lion is mounted on a black felt fabric background inside a brown wood frame (there is no glass).
