FP250 Felted Lion Portrait (7x9) | Suri Alpaca Fiber Art

This small lion portrait features natural Suri Alpaca fiber. The original artwork includes fiber from my own farm-raised Suri Alpaca herd. The piece highlights the unique locks that are a trademark of Suri alpaca fleece.

I created this lion portrait by needle felting fawn, black, grey, and white fiber (only the eyes are from dyed roving). The finished product is mounted on a black felt fabric background inside a black frame (there is no glass).

The frame measures 7x9" and in addition to hanging includes a stand for displaying on a shelf.
