FP1 Felted Eagle Portrait (20x24) | Suri Alpaca Fiber Art

This original artwork features fiber from my own farm-raised Suri Alpaca herd. The piece highlights the unique locks that are a trademark of Suri alpaca fleece.

I created this eagle portrait by needle felting natural white and dark brown fiber locks (only the eyes and nose are from dyed roving). The Eagle is mounted on a rust-colored felt fabric background inside a black frame (there is no glass). 

The portrait measures 20 x 24". The frame measures 23.5 x 27.5".
